Villa Montignoso is a lovely place, excellent location and in top shape. We enjoyed our stay, tenant was cordial and knowledgeable. Overall a great option.

Panoramaview en huisje ziet er top uit, echter zit het achter een berg en eikenbos en bij zonsopkomst, van april tot midden mei kun je niet buiten ontbijten. Bij koud weer is het huisje dan ook erg koud. De eigenaar is een vriendelijke behulpzame man en top. Helaas zijn de meubels echt Toscaans en niet voor Noord Europese mensen gebouwd (te korte zitting) en hoge tafel stoelen passen niet. De kastjes zit te vol met pannen en servies. Met mooi weer kun je daar goed verblijven en leef je meer buiten. ( we hadden een beetje pech met het weer). Keuken heeft geen afzuigkap met verlichting dat zou een aanrader zijn, echt koken doe je niet want dan ruikt alles naar eten. (pasta wil nog wel)... Wij houden van natuur dus dat zit wel goed, tenzij je niet van wormpjes, kevertjes, muggen, vliegen, adders, vossen en wilde zwijnen houdt moet je hier niet zijn. Roccastrada is niet toeristisch en doet kil aan. De horeca , bakkerijen en middenstand is niet ingesteld op toeristen (heeft soms ook wel weer charme) veel is dicht en niet veel keuze. Tip Gino tankstation is kortbij met barretje voor een snel ontbijtje en heeft zeer betaalbare goede simpele menu's. De pizza en pasta zijn beter dan bij de duurdere horeca!!! Bezoek aan Roccatherdigi en Montemassi is leuker en gastvrijer beter ingespeeld op de gasten.
The property was perfectly placed for us to do day drops to some great Tuscan cities and towns. The position made discovering the region super easy. We were a group of 2 couples and the house was great for our group. We ate breakfasts and dinners at the house, and ate out every lunch. The two kitchens take some getting used to with a fridge in only one, and a dishwasher in the other. But we had all we needed. The outdoor space is fabulous and the views and setting are delightful.

Geweldig mooi huis, keurig verzorgd en goed onderhouden. Goed schoongemaakt en zeer gastvrije verhuurders. Lieve en vriendelijke mensen. Zorgden zelfs voor de boodschappen bij aankomst. Aanrader!

We had an amazing stay for an entire month. It served a great home base for us. Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre, and many other places were easily accessible by train and by car. The small community of Massarosa was charming. Finally, the team of Monica, Simone, and Massimo were wonderful. They responded promptly to any request we had.

It was a beautiful villa with amazing views over the vineyards. Every necessity was provided and overall we felt very well cared for. The housekeeper was very kind and attentive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We received a very warm welcome. The outdoor areas were beautiful and well kept and the pool was great as well.

Our stay at Podere Degli Olivi was perfection! It was beyond clean, private and equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were lovely. We would definitely stay again.
