They were originally commissioned to be built by Francesco I de Medici in 1574 and took 19 years to complete! Visit the striking Cathedral of Grosseto of which the exterior is built with black and white marble. Its interior is filled with magnificent sculpture and artworks.
Walk around the majestic Palazzo Aldobrandeschi which was the lavish home of the rich and powerful Aldobrandeschi family. This large old building is located in Piazza Dante.
