1. Fattoria di Quercia al Poggio
A property comprising of an exceptionally elegant stone villa and several other buildings, this incredible wedding location in Tuscany is made up of ten different apartments that can accommodate up to 42 people with 22 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms, all boasting bright, spacious, airy, and elegant interiors. Located 15km (9mi) from Barberino Val D'elsa and only 24km (15mi) from the famous medieval town of San Gimignano, Fattoria di Quercia al Poggio is nestled on a hillside, down a lane, and away from the main road and outside world, taking in sweeping views over the famous rolling hills and pastoral landscapes of the Tuscan countryside.
A working farm, the estate that surrounds the property produces olive oil and wine and guests are free to enjoy the vineyard, olive groves, forest, and extensive grounds. Furthermore, there are two different swimming pools on the grounds set within the pretty Italian garden that can be enjoyed by those staying at Fattoria di Quercia al Poggio. Another lovely gem that is located near San Gimignano (just 16km away) and just 5km from the pretty town of Colle Di Val D’elsa, this quaint and pretty property is also another example with multiple independent apartments to house you and your guests throughout your destination wedding in Tuscany. In fact, the 11 apartments (housing up to 39 people in total) inside several historic stone buildings, look and feel a little like you and your friends and family have a picturesque Tuscan village all to yourselves. The property is also home to a restaurant that can be opened upon request with catering by the owners for indoor dining but external caterers can also be arranged and allowed depending on your needs and preferences and both indoor and outdoor weddings can be set up in this restaurant or in various scenic spots around the extensive grounds. Finally, a special feature of this property is that pets can be permitted so if you have an integral four-legged guest to bring along to join in on the wedding ceremony and celebrations then that is fine as long as you have it approved and inform the owners before booking. 3. Palazzo Rosadi & Torre del Cielo
These two properties are listed together as they are neighbouring buildings and are often rented as a pair by those planning weddings as they collectively can accommodate up to 22 people in 11 bedrooms (with 12 bathrooms, 11 of which are ensuite bathrooms). Located on a pretty estate that unfolds across 25 hectares and encompasses woods, three terraces taking in sweeping views across the green hills of Tuscany, and Italian gardens that are bursting with colourful blooms, the properties are just 5km (3mi) from the town of Monterchi and 29km (18mi) from the famous medieval gem that is Arezzo.
Palazzo Rosadi is the larger and more formal-looking of the two and has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, with chic interiors, high ceilings, spacious rooms, and antique details. Torre del Cielo looks more like a charming farmhouse in a delightful cottage garden but boasts five bedrooms and bathrooms and still has relatively spacious storybook interiors featuring exposed beam ceilings and stone walls and lots of lovely details. And both have air-conditioning in all of the bedrooms and WIFI throughout to ensure the comfort of your guests during their stay. Outside, there are two pools, a Jacuzzi, a barn converted into a shower and changing room, and several nice spots to set up outdoor weddings, dance floors, wedding bands, wedding ceremonies, and more. Castelletto, is located in the beautiful Orcia Valley, 5km from Sinalunga, and is a handsome Tuscan villa surrounded by extensive and well-maintained grounds. Boasting three swimming pools and six separate apartments that can accommodate up to 36 guests in total with 14 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, it is an ideal place to plan a destination wedding in Tuscany. With perfect spaces to house the wedding ceremony, reception, and your friends and families, Castelletto is a picture-perfect and excellent wedding venue.
There is an indoor dining space that looks out onto the pretty Italian-style garden and can seat around 120 people, as well as the spacious grounds where an area for the wedding ceremony, multiple tables for the meal, a dance floor, and space for a wedding band and/or wedding DJ can be all set aside for an outdoor wedding if you want to have more guests.
