In order to give you the peace of mind you need to book a perfect vacation rental and have the holiday of your dreams, we have made specific agreements with many of our property owners to ensure that your investment is protected and that you will not lose money even if you are unable to travel when the time for your getaway comes around.
When browsing through our websites and viewing the different properties on offer, you will see that each property listing has specific payment and cancellation policies in place. In this section of the property listing, you will be able to see if the villa in question comes with Travel Insurance included in the price (we have a number of properties covered by Europ Assistance and ERV) that will ensure you are also covered in case you test positive for Coronavirus.
You will also find if there is a total-refund cancellation policy that will apply in case of official lockdowns in place at the time of arrival. This lockdown policy, if in place, states that if the renter (the person in whose name the booking is made, to whom all correspondence is addressed, and who is, as such, responsible for the rental) is unable to travel due to an official lockdown in place at the time of the arrival with the country or regional border closed in the country of origin or destination, starting from 14 days prior to arrival, then it is possible to cancel the booking with no penalty. In this case, the renter will, therefore, receive a full refund via the payment method used at the time of booking or a voucher for the same amount to be used for a future booking.
Reading the payment and cancellation policies section for each listing carefully before booking is, therefore, now even more essential than is usually the case. And ensuring that the above conditions are in place and that you are completely covered before booking a property means that you can do so with no worries at all! Scrolling to the bottom of the listing, then, you will be able to read the full information about the booking and cancellation policies for the property in question and then find a link to a full explanation of the cancellation insurance.
