New Review Submitted for Casa Paola located in Grassina, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Sunday 4th of October 2015.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
We are two mid twenties American newlyweds on our honeymoon, neither of which had traveled to Europe before.

Our time at Casa Paola could not have been more perfect. Very tranquil and relaxing, beautiful scenery and wonderful hosts. The property is far enough out to feel rural and secluded and yet close enough to hop on a bus and be in Florence in 30 minutes. The house itself is very nice, the pool was wonderful. We did not have a car but didn't really mind. We took a cab to/from the train station in florence (~40 euro) and other than that walked everywhere, including the grocery store. The hill is steep, but doable and there are stairs.

I can't say enough about the graciousness and generosity of the hosts. If you're booking here for a relaxing Tuscan getaway you will not be disappointed!

Villa Carolina was perfect for us. The villa is well appointed and has good views of the local vineyards and the valley below. The owners Lucia and Gabriele are lovey and the dinner Lucia prepared for us was the best of the week. The location is very good for day trips to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra.

New Review Submitted for Palazzo Rosadi located in Monterchi, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 19th of September 2015.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
Our group of 5 couples used Palazzo Rosadi for our recent week in Tuscany. Difficult to add more glowing words about this property than have already been posted on this website. If you have a fairly large group of people traveling together, this villa is an excellent choice. The owner, Rosadi and his parents could NOT have been more gracious and helpful during our stay at this historic villa. The location is out in the beautiful Tuscan countryside near the Umbrian border. The charming village of Monterchi is only 5-7 minutes away, where you will find a small supermarket that has everything you might need for your stay at the villa. The kitchen is equipped nicely with everything you need to prepare lovely dinners.
We spent one day in Florence and found taking the train from Arrezo (20 minutes away from the villa) to Florence (Firenze)was an excellent alternative to driving, since parking and driving in Florence is extremely difficult. The 30 minute trip was very relaxing and delivers you to the Santa Maria Novella station, a 5-10 minute walk to the historic section. A vehicle is a must if you are staying at this villa. If Mr. Rosado offers to take you on a visit to a nearby Monastery outside of Sansepulcro,do it. This small mountain-top place has been there since 1132 A.D. and was frequented by St. Francis of Assisi during his travels. Our group felt it was one of the highlights of the 2 weeks we were in Italy. Also, pay heed to Mr. Rosadi's recommendation for local restaurants... he even called and made reservations at La Pieve Vecchio, outside Monterchi, where we dined at on two occasions. Also, travel the short trip to Anghiari and dine at Da Alghiero, another worthwhile recommendation by Mr. Rosadi. The owners, Gianni and Sylvia will treat you like family, once they find out you know Rosadi.
Overall, Palazzo Rosadi exceeded our expectations on many levels. First time in Tuscany and Italy, but do hope it won't be our last......

New Review Submitted for Villa Raffaelli located in Fosciandora, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Wednesday 30th of September 2015.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
Good facilities, well equipped kitchens and great pool and spa. We loved having the table tennis table as well. The views and character of the house are wonderful. WE took advantage of the catered dinner one evening and it was fantastic and really good value. The caretakers were helpful and prompt in fixing any issues. The villa is great for a rest - there are no real shops of cafes within walking distance, but if you are prepared for this, it is great. The nearest town is about a ten minute drive. The only down side for some was very patchy internet access - probably due to the thick stone walls and location.
