It is the ideal place if you wish to spend a relaxing holiday in the midst of the Valdichiana countryside, which offers an infinity of gentle, variable landscapes, and at the same time visit Tuscany and neighbouring Umbria.
You will find the farm at the foot of the rugged hill where the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona rises majestically and will instantly win you over with its old-world atmosphere. In Cortona you can stroll around, enjoy splendid views and visit countless ancient churches, museums and works of art. Don't forget to taste the local cuisine in the typical restaurants in the centre - you won't regret it!
A skilful and careful renovation, carried out with painstaking patience directly by the owner, and a decor in authentic period furniture give the houses a very special charm. You will feel welcomed in a very homely atmosphere that will make you feel at home from the very first moment.
Apartments Sofya and Selene are located in the same building and can be especially recommended for 2 families travelling together. La Gabola, La Gabolina and La Turata, on the other hand, are individual and independent houses, perfect for those who like a little extra privacy.
All around the farm a large green space where each house has its own private corner with a gazebo equipped with table and chairs. This will be your favourite place on warm summer evenings, chatting with friends and a good bottle of red wine. The pool is open all year round. Directly in front of the pool, a beautiful shaded pergola draped with fragrant climbing jasmine provides a romantic setting with outdoor tables and chairs. Adjacent to the pool, guests will find a bathroom with 2 showers and a decorative stepped fountain. A stone-paved area connects the pool zone to the kitchen and living room entrance of the villa, where a pergola with jasmine, outdoor tables, chairs, and a mobile barbecue invites leisurely gatherings. Four nice apartments in a farmhouse situated on a large farming estate (30 hectares) with woods, vineyards, horses and “cinta-senese” breeding (kind of pig typical of the area around Siena). All of the apartments are simply but nicely furnished, in a typical Tuscan style.
