The beautifully maintained yard, rich with a wide variety of plants and flowers, frames the property with natural elegance and provides a serene outdoor environment for the entire duration of your visit.

The rectangular pool, oval-shaped on one side, measures 5 by 10 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.20 metres to 1.85 metres. Entry into the water is via a ladder, and the pool is equipped with a chlorine purification system as well as an internal lighting system. The surrounding solarium area features traditional cotto paving and grass, and is furnished with tables, sunbeds, sun umbrellas, and a cold outdoor shower. Lovely olive trees frame the pool without obstructing the magnificent views of the countryside and the hills beyond. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

Poderino is configured to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, spread over 2 levels that are connected both internally and externally via sets of stairs. The ground floor is entered through the main entrance, which opens directly into the living room. To the right, a room housing a billiard table provides an entertaining space, while to the left, the dining area flows naturally into the fully equipped kitchen, which is adjacent to a pantry and laundry space. The garden, completely fenced and extending all around the farmhouse, is characterized by lush lawn areas bordered by Mediterranean aromatic plantings and dotted with olive trees, rose bushes, oleanders, and a variety of fruit trees including peaches, plums, walnuts, apple trees, and apricots. Guests are also welcome to draw seasonal vegetables from the garden cultivated by the owner, adding a delightful farm-to-table dimension to their stay.
A large pergola positioned in front of the kitchen, framed by vines of passionflower and roses, serves as the primary outdoor living area, housing a relaxation corner with a sofa and armchairs alongside a table for outdoor dining. A built-in barbecue and an outdoor kitchen are located a short distance away, making al fresco entertaining both easy and enjoyable. On the back of the property, a second pergola surrounded by fragrant climbing wisteria provides a perfect corner for quiet relaxation, immersed in the silence of the Tuscan countryside.
The non-heated swimming pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October and is positioned at the center of the garden, at a slightly elevated level relative to the farmhouse, accessible via a flight of 5 steps. The pool features an attractive bean shape with a stone border and internal PVC lining, covering an area of 40 square meters, and is equipped with a Roman staircase on one side. It is fitted with a cold water outdoor shower and lighting both inside the pool and throughout the surrounding garden. The purification system is chlorine-based. The sunbathing area, finished in wood and stone along the perimeter and extending into the lawn dotted with olive trees, is furnished with sun beds, umbrellas, and a wooden gazebo appointed with armchairs.
An additional swimming pool, available but not for the exclusive use of guests, is located approximately 50 meters from the farmhouse, near the annex where the owners reside. This pool has a rectangular shape measuring 12x6 meters with a variable depth ranging from 1.20 meters to 1.70 meters, and is also equipped with a cold water outdoor shower and a generous sunbathing area planted with lawn.
It should be noted that photo shoots are typically taken in spring, and therefore the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns, and surrounding areas may differ at the time of your arrival.

You will find the Agriturismo Le Balze in the heart of the Alto Valdarno, at the foot of Pratomagno, and 4 km from the small village of Castelfranco di Sopra. All around is a natural landscape of rare beauty, which will captivate you from the first moment, characterised by the presence of the 'Balze', secular examples of erosion that over the years have formed towers and rocky blades that rise majestically in the valley bottom.
In about 30 minutes by car you will be able to reach Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. City of the ancient Medici family, a heritage not to be missed, with its artistic masterpieces, the colourful marble of the churches and the lofty architecture, the ancient bridges over the Arno river and the majestic noble palaces with their immense gardens adorned with fountains, sculptures, grottoes, staircases and paths.
The villa is divided into three independent flats, in one of which on the ground floor there is a double bedroom with a bathroom suitable for persons with disabilities. The structure was born from the recovery of old farm outbuildings close to the main house where the owners live, who will be, albeit in a discreet manner, a point of reference for all your needs.
The owners, thanks to careful renovation using traditional materials such as wood, terracotta and stone and comfortable furnishings, have ensured that the villa is perfect for spending a comfortable and restful holiday.
Villa Le Balze overlooks on one side a wooden porch, equipped with table and chairs and perfect for your dinners and evenings in company, and the lush garden where you will have a barbecue and a table tennis. On the other side, the house overlooks the swimming pool area (size 6x12 m, depth 1.40 m - open from 10 May to 15 September), which is completely fenced off and for the exclusive use of guests.
At Agriturismo Le Balze you can taste and purchase excellent wine and extra-virgin olive oil, vegetables, fruit, and all the products of the farm. In addition, on the ground floor of the house where the owners live you will find a small restaurant (maximum 25 seats), open both to the public and to guests of the villa. All of the apartments provide welcoming interiors furnished in a rustic style. The units Tenuta 1 and 2 are approx. 50 from the pool away while the remaining units are closer. By the pool, guests can enjoy use of a beautiful panoramic terrace with sun-umbrellas and sofas and of a covered area with WI-FI in internet connection (WI-FI internet is also available near the reception, closer the units Tenuta 1 and 2).
The access to the property is via an unpaved road suitable to any car.
