Olivo is a characteristic and very old farmhouse that you will find almost hidden among the silver foliage of the olive trees that cover the hillside, giving the villa an atmosphere and peace of times gone by. You will find it nestled between the cities of Arezzo and Castiglion Fiorentino, and its location will offer you countless possibilities for visiting museums, monuments or simply for shopping in the centre of Arezzo.
In Arezzo, to which we advise you to dedicate at least one day, you will find a marvellous historic centre, made up of cobbled alleyways and ancient buildings, some of which date back to the Medieval period, as well as designer shops and typical restaurants and cafés, where you can spend an afternoon or a lazy summer evening. Just 4 km away is also the Arezzo Equestrian Centre where internationally renowned equestrian events are held throughout the year.
The beautiful panoramic swimming pool (size 5x10 m, depth 0.90-1.80 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) was built on a large green terrace, just a few metres from the house. In the completely enclosed garden, your children can play freely in absolute tranquillity in the shade of the olive trees and century-old trees, while you, by the side of the pool, can enjoy the sun while admiring the fantastic panorama of the valley below. For the little ones' playtime there is also a playhouse in a tree.
At the back of the house you will have at your disposal, for dinners or lunches in the open air, a comfortable equipped area, wood-burning oven and barbecue, where you can enjoy your meals in company.
Olivo is a rustic-style farmhouse, reminiscent of the old peasant houses, whose warmth provided shelter for the large families of our ancestors. Podere I Gigli is a farmhouse just a few steps away from the centre of Castiglion Fiorentino, which you can easily reach on foot in less than 10 minutes when you want to stretch your legs. The railway station, which is 500 metres from the property, is also within easy reach and makes the house particularly suitable for all types of travel should you wish to visit Tuscany and Central Italy without taking a car.
The farm mainly produces cereals, but around the house you can also enjoy the view of vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees. The owners will be happy to let you taste and buy their pure Sangiovese wine, extra virgin olive oil and other products of the farm, proudly handed down from father to daughter.
The house is surrounded by a large, well-kept garden, shaded and filled with flowers and plants. In the relaxation area, furnished with table and chairs, you can comfortably enjoy your meals in the open air. At the back of the house, in a sunny position, there is a swimming pool measuring 4.5x9m, 1.50m deep and completely fenced ( open from 15 May to 30 September) for the safety of your children.
Another corner that we think you will appreciate is the sun terrace on the first floor, where you will find a small lounge with a sun umbrella, table and chairs, ideal for aperitifs in the cool of summer evenings.
There is also a vegetable garden with fresh seasonal vegetables that you can pick daily.
Podere I Gigli is an old stone farmhouse, dating back to the early 1900s, which has recently been renovated and brought back to life while maintaining the structure, which still exudes ancient history and farming traditions. The grit floors and exposed beams have been preserved and together with the rustic furnishings and antiques and local crafts, personally and carefully chosen by the owner, make the house a truly ideal place for your holidays.

Meticulously maintained and completely fenced, it is bordered by screens of geometric hedges and enriched with a remarkable variety of shady trees, shrubs, rose bushes, potted plants, and oleanders, all extending across multiple terraced levels down the hillside. Directly in front of the living room French windows, a large panoramic gazebo serves as a central outdoor gathering point, furnished with a hammock and equipped with tables and chairs for alfresco dining. From the gazebo, a flight of steps leads down to the pool area and further to a dedicated fitness area complete with gym equipment, including an exercise bike, stepper, weight bench, multifunction bench, and wall bars. A short distance from the gazebo, the back garden features a brick structure housing a wood oven and barbecue, alongside a loggia with a ping pong table. A few steps up from here, guests will find the private enclosed tennis court coated in PVC resin and of regulation size, adjacent to an elegant veranda with opening glass walls and an outdoor hydromassage tub with chromotherapy, accommodating up to six people at a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. Two bathrooms and two showers are available for use in connection with the tennis court, and tennis racquets and balls are made available to guests. The park is completed by a 70 square metre panoramic attic used as a solarium, offering sweeping views across the surrounding landscape. The rectangular non-heated swimming pool is a centrepiece of the outdoor experience at Il Vignale. Fenced and set in a panoramic position on a lower terrace with respect to the villa, it is surrounded by hedges of laurel and embellished with bamboo, oleanders, and lavender bushes. The pool measures 12 by 9 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.20 metres over the first 3 metres to 3.80 metres at its deepest point. It is lined with tiles, illuminated at night, and equipped with 2 metal ladders for water access as well as a diving board. A cold-water shower is also available poolside. The pool uses a chlorine purification system and is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. The generous sunbathing area surrounding the pool is partly paved in stone and partly laid to lawn, and is furnished with sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrellas, tables, and chairs.

Il Vignale is a spacious and thoughtfully configured villa capable of accommodating up to 20 guests across 10 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. The house is built on terraced ground, allowing direct access to the exterior from both floors through numerous French windows. The main entrance on the ground floor opens into a bright and welcoming sitting room furnished with sofas, a fireplace, and satellite TV, entirely lined with French windows that open onto the gazebo. From the sitting room, a few steps lead to a second large living room, which on one side features sofas and a large television alongside a small games room with direct access to the pool through a French window, and on the other side a dining area connected to the kitchen, a toilet, and a laundry room. Still on the ground floor, in a separate wing of the house with its own independent entrance, are 2 self-contained mini apartments, each comprising a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, and a living area with kitchenette and a single sofa bed. A wooden staircase from the sitting room leads to the first floor, which can also be accessed directly from the outside via a marble staircase located beside the main entrance. On this floor, in addition to an elegant study, the sleeping area extends along a long corridor and comprises 6 double bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom with shower, and 2 single bedrooms that communicate with each other and share a bathroom with shower. The 2 single rooms and 1 of the double rooms feature a balcony overlooking the pool. Air conditioning is available throughout the villa with the exception of one of the living rooms.

At the heart of the outdoor experience is the oval-shaped swimming pool, positioned between the main villa and the annex, approximately 10 metres from the annex. The non-heated pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday of October and measures 7 by 14 metres, with a depth ranging from 90 cm to 2.50 metres. Entry into the water is via submerged steps, and a diving board is also available. The pool is fully lined with dry-mounted Tuscan stone, with a grey-blue cement bottom that lends a beautifully natural effect within its sandstone-paved surround. On 2 sides, large stone vases filled with water lilies add a romantic and distinctive touch. The pool area is equipped with comfortable sunbeds for sunbathing and is complemented by a romantic gazebo covered in climbing ivy, furnished with sofas and armchairs for those who prefer the shade. A hot and cold-water shower and chlorine purification system complete the pool facilities.
Throughout the park, several carefully arranged relaxation and dining areas invite you to make the most of the outdoor setting. A pretty wooden gazebo furnished with a dining table sits at the exit of the annex, directly in front of the pool. The main villa is arranged over 2 floors. The main entrance is located on the side adjacent to the driveway, reached via 3 external steps that lead into the vast open living area occupying the entire ground floor. Here, all rooms flow naturally into one another, beginning with the sitting and TV room, furnished with pure white divans arranged around an antique fireplace and a large television, which extends along a wide external portico. From there, a further small sitting room with a second fireplace connects to the dining room, which also faces the garden and its seating area. Also on the ground floor are the kitchen, accessed directly from the dining room, a laundry room, and a guest bathroom. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, where the master bedroom is located, complete with a dedicated sleeping area, a closet area, a bathroom with shower, and direct access to a panoramic terrace. Also on this floor are 2 double bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, which share a bathroom equipped with a hydromassage tub. One of these bedrooms opens directly onto the garden through a French window, while the other is accessed through a study that includes a double sofa bed.
A few metres uphill along a paved path, the annex offers a striking contrast with its huge open-plan living room beneath a high gable roof, combining a lounge area with an additional large television and a dining area centred around an elegant black table with chairs. Thanks to the home automation system, the large windows that line the room lower automatically at the touch of a button, seamlessly connecting the interior with the gazebo and the adjacent pool area.
