Four nice apartments in a farmhouse situated on a large farming estate (30 hectares) with woods, vineyards, horses and “cinta-senese” breeding (kind of pig typical of the area around Siena). This property, offering a total of 4 units, is in quiet and panoramic location and enjoys extensive views over the surrounding landscape. All of the apartments are simply but nicely furnished, in a typical Tuscan style.
The access to the property is via an unpaved road of 2,3 km.

The Pieve di Sant'Ippolito is a small outbuilding in the heart of the Crete Senesi. You will find it on the outskirts of the village of Asciano, in a panoramic and sunny position. The property is composed of the manor house where the owners' family lives, an annexe and the very ancient Church of "Sant'Ippolito e Cassiano", whose origins date back to the 3rd-4th century AD. Inside the church you can admire a beautiful fresco painted by several renowned artists of the Umbrian school, such as Pinturicchio and Raphael, but erroneously attributed to the Sienese painter Giacomo Pacchiarotti a minor artist of the Sienese school. On 13 August, for the feast of Saints Ippolito and Cassiano, the church will be open to the public and a Holy Mass will be celebrated there. During the rest of the year, being part of private property, the owners allow it to be opened only on rare occasions, while guests of the house will be able to visit it freely.
You will reach the village of Asciano, with shops and services of all kinds, by a pleasant walk of just a few minutes.
All around the house you will find a large, fully fenced garden equipped with children's games, a table tennis table, barbecue and tables and chairs for your outdoor meals. The beautiful round swimming pool (dimensions 13 x 8 m, depth 1.20 - 2.10 m) with water geyser, infinity edge with waterfall and 3-seater whirlpool bath will be at your disposal during the whole year. Villa Scianellone is an ancient stone and brick villa in a privileged, hilly and panoramic position. You will be able to fully experience a building whose origins date back to the 14th century and which preserves intact its original structure with its terracotta floors and brick arches, a plunge into the past, into the ancient Tuscan peasant traditions.
The villa is set in an enchanted place, shrouded in peace and tranquillity, where you can relax and enjoy the harmony and serenity of the Tuscan landscape.
You will find Villa Scianellone 1.5 km from the town of Torrita di Siena, a characteristic and turreted medieval village. In the village you will find shops, restaurants and services of all kinds. If you like walking, the village can also be reached on foot, and we certainly recommend spending an evening there, for dinner out or for an aperitif in one of its ancient and particular piazzas.
In a few minutes by car you can reach the beautiful villages of Montefollonico (10 km) and Montepulciano (12 km), which are well worth a visit and a stop, where you can taste the typical dishes and above all the prestigious and renowned wines of the area such as the 'Nobile di Montepulciano'.
Villa Scianellone is surrounded by lush, silvery olive groves, vineyards and meadows that are part of the property. All around the villa you will find a large and well-kept garden (about 5,000 m2), where you will find a cool pine forest equipped with games for your children and the beautiful swimming pool (size 5x10 m - depth 1.20 - 1.80 m - open from 01st May to 30th September).
