Villa Gioiosa is an old stone house that once belonged to the nearby Benedictine monastery and was used by the monks as a chestnut dryer, of which the surrounding woods are rich. Today the house has been completely restored, maintaining the characteristics of the old Tuscan farmhouse, both in the architectural features and in the furnishings, enriched with local antiques.

They date back to 1600 when there was a monastery here, and you can still admire an ancient little church inside the property. The non-heated swimming pool is situated in the upper part of the property, fenced with Photinia hedges for privacy, and is approximately 30 metres from the main house, accessible via a flight of steps from the courtyard. The rectangular pool measures 5 x 10 metres with a constant depth of 1.40 metres, is lined in light cream-coloured PVC, and features Roman steps for water access along with both internal and external lighting. A large stone solarium surrounds the pool, shaded by generous umbrellas and furnished with sunbeds and tables for relaxed sunbathing. Below the pool, a small annex houses a bathroom with shower and a changing room. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. Please note that the property's photographic documentation was taken in spring, so the colours and blooms of the gardens, lawns, and surrounding greenery may vary at the time of your arrival.

To the right of the entrance, a short corridor leads to a guest bathroom, a small study, and the entrance to a private suite comprising 3 rooms: a double bedroom with direct access to the garden, a bedroom with a queen-size sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower. A traditional stone staircase connects the ground floor to the first floor, where the main sleeping area is arranged. This upper level hosts 2 double bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom, and 3 en-suite bathrooms, offering ample space and privacy for all guests.
