The main entrance of Villa Grevigiana leads into a welcoming living area furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs, a flat screen TV, and a fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for the entire group. A generous dining room and a fully equipped professional kitchen provide everything needed for preparing and enjoying meals together. On the ground floor, the first 5 double bedrooms are located, each with its own private bathroom with shower and direct access to the outdoor equipped areas. On the first floor, the remaining 7 double bedrooms are situated, all with ensuite bathrooms with shower and mosquito nets on the windows. The villa also features a recently built SPA, complete with a large hot tub, a massage room, and a Finnish sauna, the use of which is included in the rental price. The property is fully air conditioned, and this service is included in the rental price. Daily maid service is provided for 4 hours per day, and the final cleaning is included. Bed linen is changed mid-week, and towels are changed twice a week. A refundable security deposit of 1500 euros is required upon arrival and must be paid in cash; it will be returned upon departure, less any costs for damages or unpaid fees. The minimum rental period is 1 week, with Saturday as the changeover day. Check-in is available from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm, and check-out must be completed before 10.00 am. Heating during winter is available as an additional expense and is charged according to consumption. City taxes, where applicable, are also charged as an additional expense. Agriturismo La Greppia is an old 17th-century farmhouse in typical Tuscan style. You will find it in the heart of the upper Arno Valley, on the slopes of the Pratomagno massif, surrounded by splendid olive groves overlooking one of the most beautiful and greenest valleys in Tuscany.
The three apartments retain clear traces of their origins, the exposed stone, the terracotta and wooden floors and the majestic beams, which will take you back in time, to the discovery of the region's rural customs. The furnishings, in typical rustic Tuscan style, make an important contribution to creating a charming and evocative atmosphere.
Inside the property there is a fourth apartment at the disposal of the owner and his guests.
Outside, you can benefit from a solarium equipped with garden furniture and umbrellas, and from an evocative, large swimming pool (size 15x6 m, depth 0.90-2.50 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) suspended over the panorama, from where you can be lulled by the enchanting landscape of the Tuscan hills.
The relative proximity to the exits of the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway (Km. 15 at Valdarno or Incisa exits) will allow you, when you do not prefer to relax by the pool, to reach Firenze and the most beautiful art cities of Tuscany and central Italy in just a few minutes.
Tuscany is full not only of famous cities with monuments, churches and museums to visit, but also of small villages that look like jewels set on its gentle hills. Nice property with pool situated near the beautiful medieval hamlet of San Donato in Poggio, half-way between Florence and Siena. This property comprises 3 comfortable apartments all of which recently restored and tastefully furnished. Beautiful vineyards and olive groves surround the estate and produce excellent Chianti Classico wine and olive oil (available for the clients to be tasted and purchased). This property is situated among green hills but at the same time it is very close to the small town of San Donato (walking distance) offering nice restaurants, pizzerias and all main services.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road suitable for any kind of car.
