The complex follows the typical structure that is historically defined as "courtyard house", consisting of a main body and a separate annex (located opposite) composed of several residential units, for a total of about 1200 sq m and organised around a central courtyard where all the various entrances are located. MAIN BODY. On three floors. On the ground floor, through the courtyard, you enter the main door which opens into a large living room with sofas and TV area. A short corridor leads to the dining room, connected to the professional kitchen which, through a French window, leads to the courtyard set up for outdoor dining and to a service bathroom. The ground floor is completed by three double bedrooms (two with divisible bed) with private bathroom with shower. An external staircase next to the main entrance leads up to the first floor where, crossing a terrace equipped with tables, you come to a living room with fireplace and six bedrooms: a double with ensuite bathroom with shower and tub, a twin (with joinable beds) served by a bathroom with tub and shower, and four doubles (two with divisible bed) with ensuite bathroom with shower. The park pertaining to the borgo extends for about 4 hectares and includes areas paved in terracotta, with seats and small tables, and areas of lawn embellished with tall trees, olive and fruit trees and thick bushes of herbs. In the courtyard onto which all the entrances open, particularly that of the kitchen, a dining area has been set up with tables and chairs with, close by, a wood oven and barbecue. A large loggia a short distance from the courtyard and the terrace on the first floor of the main house are perfect relaxation areas, where you can sit and admire the panoramic views. Next to the structure is a large parking area.

It has chlorine purification, a metal ladder for access to the water and internal lighting, which is also present throughout the surrounding area. Located just a few kilometres from the medieval borgo of Casole d'Elsa, in Italy, this prestigious residence commands sweeping panoramic views across the hills of Chianti, extending to the silhouettes of San Gimignano and Monteriggioni. The villa takes its name from a majestic bush that greets you at the entrance and forms part of an imposing complex originally dating from 1900, which has been carefully enlarged and fully renovated while preserving the authentic charm of traditional Tuscan country architecture. Natural handmade terracotta, chestnut beams and joists, travertine marble, and finely crafted wooden doors and windows speak to the heritage and craftsmanship of this remarkable property, which is furnished throughout with antique and handcrafted pieces. The villa is surrounded by a lush yard of approximately 2,000 sq m of lawn, dotted with Mediterranean plants, aromatic herb bushes, and seasonal flowers, all set within a private estate of 14 hectares. A dedicated parking area is conveniently located close to the main entrance, accessible via a driveway that crosses the expansive park. High-speed Internet Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, ensuring you remain connected during your stay should you wish to be.
Outdoors
The park surrounding Villa Il Foramasso extends over a predominantly flat area of approximately 5,000 sq m within the broader 14-hectare estate, offering a serene and private outdoor environment with beautiful panoramic views on all sides. A terrace has been thoughtfully arranged as a relaxation area, while a furnished portico at the exit of the living room provides a welcoming space with sofas and a table for outdoor dining. The garden is planted primarily with lawn and enriched with numerous species of Mediterranean plants, herb bushes, and a variety of flowers. Please be aware that photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ at the time of your arrival. A large, exclusive swimming pool area is set in a panoramic position within the park, reached along a drive of approximately 70 m bordered by hedges. The rectangular non-heated swimming pool measures 7 x 17 m, with a depth varying from 1.40 to 1.80 m. It is lined in PVC, features chlorine purification, and is equipped with submerged steps for easy water access. The surrounding area, finished in stone and lawn, is furnished with elegant sunbeds, umbrellas, a cold-water shower, and a small shady seating area. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

Villa Il Foramasso is configured across 2 floors and is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests across its 5 beautifully appointed bedrooms, each served by its own private bathroom, for a total of 5 bathrooms. On the ground floor, the entrance leads into a small hall that opens to the right onto a sitting room featuring a large fireplace and direct access to the furnished portico, as well as to the dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with a pantry at the rear. To the left of the entrance, you will find a TV room, a spacious living room with a fitness area and games table, and a dedicated utility room housing the washing machine, a sink, a wood oven, a barbecue-fireplace, and a large work table. Two guest bathrooms are also located on this floor. The upper floor, accessible from two sides of the house via travertine staircases, comprises the sleeping area. Here you will find 2 twin bedrooms with joinable beds, each with an ensuite bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with a divisible bed served by a bathroom featuring a hydromassage tub and shower, 1 double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower, and 1 double bedroom served by a bathroom with a hydromassage tub, sauna, and Turkish bath. A large study on the upper floor also contains a double sofa bed, offering additional sleeping flexibility for your group.

Villa Il Foramasso is a property that combines privacy with a welcoming sense of place. Within the extensive estate, the owners reside in a completely independent and separate area of the property and do not interfere in any way with your use of the park or the swimming pool. Pets are welcome at the villa, subject to prior authorisation from the owner, which must be requested before arrival with details regarding the number, size, and breed of the animals. An extra cleaning fee applies for guests travelling with pets. The property also features a sauna and a Turkish bath, available on request. Parking is available on site within the dedicated parking area close to the main entrance. The fitness area and games table on the ground floor offer additional recreational options for guests of all ages.
