The villa is located at the foot of the first wooded hills, which mark the border between Valdichiana and Valdarno, from here you can make even daily excursions, towards the two valleys, dotted with small villages nestled in the Tuscan countryside. In Monte San Savino, which is just a few kilometres away, it will be pleasant to spend evenings out, dining in typical restaurants or enjoying an aperitif sitting at tables in the colourful cobbled streets.
From the windows of the villa you can admire the imposing Castello di Civitella with its characteristic 'Torre Spaccata'. We absolutely recommend a visit to this small village, a real jewel of the Valdichiana, with its ancient cistern, panoramic square and medieval buildings.
La Quiete, in our opinion, is perfectly suited for your holidays with children, or in the company of large groups of friends. Around the house you will find a large green area equipped with outdoor furniture, barbecue, table tennis, table football, children's games, volleyball court and five-a-side football pitch. In 1996 we moved to the Crete Senesi and we fell in love with this farmhouse Etruscan origins, medieval mill, peace and tranquillity. That’s why we decided to share it with our guests and their four-legged friends.
The farm keeps the whole family busy: Alessandro (biologist, nature guide and Sommelier), Elisa who looks after the administration, Mauro and Paola, retired but full time busy on the farm. And we hope that in the future even Emma and Guido will give us a helping hand.
We produce vegetables and fruit, olive oil and truffles from organic agriculture.
For our guests we organize a rich programme of initiatives discovering the colours and flavours of the Crete, wine tasting in our cosy winery and excursions by bike guided by Alessandro who is fond of cycling.

Villa Montalcinello is a villa located near the city of Chiusdino, where you can enjoy the wonderful and impressive landscape typical of Tuscany, it has been restored and furnished with elegance, in fact there is only antique furniture of rare beauty.
The Villa also has a small but lovely garden terrace with swimming pool and picnic gazebo.
There are Roman steps for entering the pool on one side, and in the garden there are several areas to sit and relax. The pool is 10 x 5 metres and, 1.7 - 2.5 metres deep. It is open from May to September, weather permitting.
There is another building overlooking the garden and pool area however this is uninhabited..
