The beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano is just 24km (or 15 miles away), Greve In Chianti is 37km away (23 miles) and the wine region of Chianti is close at hand, Florence and all of her treasures like those on display in the Uffizi is just 39km away (24 miles), wonderfully preserved Siena and her famous Palio race is 59km away (37 miles) and Pisa and her Leaning Tower is just 68km away (42 miles). Of course, so much is already on offer at the villa alone...

Castello Di Cabbiavoli, living room

Made up of several buildings dating to different periods in history, the property is a wonderful way to experience and live the rich culture and heritage that draws so many to Tuscany in the first place. The oldest part is the historic tower that dates back to the 13th century, a distinctive feature that brings the Middle Ages to life with its battlements on top. From the top of this little castle, guests can enjoy truly breath-taking views over the surrounding landscape.

Next to this is the elegant palazzo, the main part of the living quarters, which features a beautiful façade with sculptural elements and a rich language of architectural details. Inside, it offers large rooms that have been carefully restored to preserve their historic charm and original character, while still offer all of the modern comforts you could ask for. Additionally, there is also a sweet little chapel on the estate that is consecrated and can be used for intimate weddings, celebrations, and special occasions or simply for quiet contemplation throughout your stay.

The villa is surrounded by approximately 4,000sqm of beautifully landscaped gardens, featuring mature trees, roses, lush lawns, ivy-covered walls, box hedges, pots filled with blooms, shaded areas to dine and lounge al fresco, and panoramic viewing points. A private swimming pool, meanwhile, is located at a lower level, in an elegant grotto, with sun loungers positioned around the water. These beautiful pleasure gardens, therefore, offer a perfect space in which to totally unwind, relax, forget the rest of the world, enjoy long lazy meals outdoors, and conversations over local wines while watching the sun set over the Tuscan landscape.

Inside, the villa continues to impress with its romantic and atmospheric beauty. On the ground floor of the main building, the impressive formal entrance hall opens into a living area with a fireplace. Then there is the charming and well-equipped country house kitchen with its historic copper pan collection and more practical features including the professional steel oven and stove top, the double sink, ample counter and storage space, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and more. While there is dining space in the kitchen there is also a sumptuous formal dining room with a massive table and direct access onto the courtyard. In addition to this, the ground floor also has more sitting rooms, a library, a bathroom, and a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom. WIFI and air-conditioning are available all throughout the living spaces and the bedrooms for your comfort and convenience.

On the first floor, you will find four more bedrooms. Among these there are two twin bedrooms and two double bedrooms, all of which have their own private bathrooms. One of the bedrooms also has its own private balcony, affording stunning views over the scenery that unfolds below. A laundry room is also located on this floor.

The sixth bedroom, meanwhile, is actually located in the castle tower. This provides some additional privacy to one pair of guests, in addition to their own little living space and a bathroom. Access up to the panoramic terrace and the most breath-taking views on the estate also make this accommodation especially charming!

Each of the bedrooms, however, has a distinct character and has been beautifully appointed with large beds, lovely antiques, interesting works of art, and careful decorative touches. Some also feature wonderful original details such as frescoes, elegant plaster work, and more. So, each room provides a unique and welcoming space full of charm, personality, and history in which to escape for some privacy, peace, and relaxation.

Finally, a former lemon house on the estate has been converted into a leisure space for the use of guests with furnishings for lounging and games such as foosball.
