We stayed at the San Benedetto apartment in Cortona for a week in March 2011. The apartment was clean and tidy, and conveniently located in the historical part of the town (close to shops and bars - cafes).
We enjoyed the most beautiful views (especially at sunset) from the apartment windows. This was definitely one of the key highlights of our Italy trip, and I would recommend this location to anyone traveling in the Tuscany region.

Also: sehr empfehlenswert
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] A jewel in Tuscany, this small complex "La Fratta". Quiet area, lots of greenery around the property and the lake in front of it. All around a nice view of the Apennines and the Tuscan hills. At the same time, this complex is a starting point for walkers and cyclists in the near or distant surroundings. But also a starting point to Florence and other Tuscan towns - the highway A1 is just a few minutes far. The apartment is tastefully decorated, cozy and bright. Everything necessary is available for the holidays. All this is enhanced by the personal and charming service offered by the owner and the staff.
Small downside to our stay: the WiFi router is not compatible with Windows 7. This had the advantage though, I had not to deal with emails during the stay ...So, highly recommended.
New Review Submitted for Il Palagio: La Torre located in Panzano, Tuscany, Italy.

We had a wonderful time at Il Palagio the property is beautiful and for us centrally located. The rooms were large and the living space was warm and welcoming.
The owners provided enough wood for the entire time we were there. Not being from a cold climate it was a welcome treat. The wall furnaces helped keeping the rooms warm too.
We don't know if the water system was installed correctly or not but there were several times where the water went out. The owners quickly fixed the problem. After about the third time it did become bothersome, but we were on vacation in Italy so we thought it best not complain. [Owner Comment: We are very sorry for this problem and are working now to solve the problem. The entire water system has new wiring this year so the problem should be solved shortly]
If anything I would suggest the seller's correct the drafting problem in the fire place. The house would quickly fill up with smoke unless a window or door were open. Considering that is was in the 30's, leaving the window open too long defeated the purpose of the fireplace and the furnaces. The smoke would settle in the bedroom closest to the courtyard leaving all of the clothing a bedding with a strong smell of smoke. [Owner Comment: We should have explained better how to start a fire. Since it is an old fireplace, it requires that the fire be started off to one side to get the draft started properly. We apologize.]
We would stay again, preferably in the late spring or early fall before or after the high season. We really enjoy the solitude the property provided.
New Review Submitted for Camporempoli located in Pietrafitta, Tuscany, Italy.
Rental Date: Saturday 4th of September 2010.
Renter: Meredith G. (Oakland, CA, United States).
Renter Rating: 5/5.

Camporempoli and Marta (the Inn Keeper) are fabulous!! The views and the house are exactly as you see them online and more! Marta suggested a local chef prepare dinner for us one night, and the experience was delightful. There are some things for potential renters to be aware of when booking: (1) Driveway is extremely hazardous and really does need a powerful vehicle to manuever, (2) there is only one store/restaurant in Lucarelli so, bring groceries with you as the store might be closed when you arrive, (3) pool is not heated, but the thrill and views are worth the slight chill!, and (4) every dollar spent was WORTH IT!!
