Reception open from 9.00 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.30. The outbuildings of the castle as well were restored and turned into charming apartments. The castle is run by the Posarelli family. Adjacent to the main building, 2 covered outdoor areas have been thoughtfully arranged, each furnished with a table and chairs to create ideal settings for al fresco dining. Villa Ghirlanda is a beautifully restored traditional Tuscan building, characterised by its distinctive stone façade, elegant interior arches, and warm cotto floors. The interiors have been tastefully furnished to create a welcoming and refined atmosphere throughout, with careful attention to both comfort and authentic Tuscan style. The property is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, and a pizza oven, adding both practicality and a touch of authentic Italian culinary tradition to the guest experience.
The rental includes Internet Wifi, bed and bathroom linen, pool towels, as well as a cot and high chair for families travelling with young children. A final cleaning service is required at the end of the stay. Heating is available upon consumption and is not compulsory; it is important to note that the heating system serves either the house or the swimming pool, but not both simultaneously. Electricity and air conditioning are metered separately. Pets are welcome upon prior request, subject to an additional weekly fee.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total rental amount is required upon confirmation of the booking, with the final balance due no later than 60 days prior to arrival. The minimum stay is 1 week, and the changeover day is Saturday. Check-in is available from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and check-out must be completed before 10:00 am. A refundable security deposit of 900 euros is required upon arrival, payable in cash or by credit card, and will be returned at the end of the stay provided no damage has occurred.
Upon request, a range of additional services is available to enhance the guest experience, including a cooking service, cooking classes, a shopping service, and private transfers to the airport or other destinations.
