It is located in a superb position, high in the hills, 15 km to the south-east of Lucca, and surrounded by olive groves and pine trees. Close to the pool area, there is a stone-built barbecue and pizza oven, an outdoor shower and an outdoor dining area. Near the driveway, about 20 metres from the house, there is small guesthouse with a double bedroom and bathroom. The secluded position and the fact that it is accessible by its private road ensure peace and tranquillity for the guests of Al Mennucci. This road lasts for 1 km and it is unsealed, therefore not suitable for low sport cars.

A security deposit of 800 euros is required upon arrival and must be paid in cash; it will be returned upon departure, less any damages or unpaid fees. Electricity and air-conditioning are included in the rental up to 300 kW, with any consumption exceeding this threshold charged per kW. Heating is available and billed upon consumption per litre. The minimum stay requirement is 3 nights during low and mid season, and 1 week during high season. Check-in is available from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and check-out must be completed before 10:00 am.
