The history of the farmhouse is also fascinating. In ancient times, the Valdichiana was a swamp and before the land reclamation took place, its waters lapped the land of the property and just a few steps from the house there was a small harbour for boats that connected by water to the surrounding villages.
Today the villa is part of a farm that includes vineyards, cereal crops, farmyard animals and beautiful horses. About 1 km away, at the owners' residence, you will be able to enjoy the organic produce from their vegetable garden free of charge. The property is part of the San Fabiano farm estate, situated approximately 500 metres from the residence, where guests are offered a complimentary tasting of the estate's own wines, which may also be purchased directly on-site. The estate produces extra virgin olive oil and prestigious wines from its olive and grape cultivations.
