The porch adjacent to the ex-barn is equipped with a table tennis table for additional recreation. The swimming pool complex is a remarkable feature of the property, set between the olive grove and the lawn approximately 20 m from the house. The complex is formed by 3 interconnected pools that create a captivating play of water. The main infinity pool, finished in coloured cement, measures 4.50 x 12 m, with a depth ranging from 90 cm at the entrance steps to 140 cm beside the cascade. Above it sits the Jacuzzi pool measuring 4 x 2 m, from which water flows down in an emotional cascade into the main pool. At ground level, a children's pool measuring 2 x 3.5 m with a depth of 40 cm completes the complex. Beautiful house dating back to the end of the 18th century comprising 6 welcoming apartments. This property is situated on the hills surrounding Volterra and enjoys amazing views of the Tuscan landscape. All of the 6 units have been recently restored and are furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. The well-groomed outside areas provide gazebos, nice paths, fruit trees and a large pool with open-air shower and sun-beds. The property owners, who are very friendly people, live only a short distance away.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road.
Distances: Volterra con general stores 10 km away, the beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano 18 km, Pisa (airport) approx. 60 km away, Florence approx. 70 km away.
The beaches of Cecina are in a 1-hour drive.
At guests’ disposal: large furnished garden with swimming-pool (15 x 7 m – depth 1,2 m), open-air shower (cold water), changing room with bathroom, shared barbecue.
A small spa with Jacuzzi bathtub (for 4/6 people), 2 massaging armchairs and changing room (with shower) is available at € 10,- / per entrance / per person (reservation requested).
