Dating back to the 12th century and restored in the 17th century by the noble family of Acciaioli, the Castle has a magnificent tower built on the model of the one of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
Montegufoni Castle is part of a large estate comprising vineyards and olive trees and is surrounded by the beautiful Chianti landscape. In the castle there are 39 apartments and a large garden with a nice swimming pool: the perfect spot to relax and have fun with your family and friends.

At guests’ disposal: large and very charming terraced park furnished with garden furniture and table tennis, beautiful Italian gardens (dating back to the 18th century) with lemon trees and swimming-pool (12 x 6 m - open from 01/04 to 31/10). Reception open from 9.00 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.30. The outbuildings of the castle as well were restored and turned into charming apartments. The castle is run by the Posarelli family. Reception - A restaurant is located on the property for guests and can be opened upon request. The catering service may be organized only by the owners and it will be possible to order breakfasts, pizza parties, BBQ's and wedding dinner ofcourse. The restaurant is closed for lunch.

Pets - If you have an important four-legged guest to bring along to join in on the wedding ceremony and celebrations when you're getting married in Tuscany, that is not a problem, just be sure to ask permission prior to booking.
