In a sunny position on the slopes of the Luccan hills is an ancient “borgo” (a very small village), Fubbiano, with old country houses, wine cellars (D.O.C. wine is for sale, among the best in the Lucca area) and an olive oil mill. The “borgo” is overlooked by the main villa, a typical Tuscan building dating back to the 18th century. In the grounds there is a private swimming pool in a panoramic position overlooking the plain of Lucca. Beyond the formal garden and terraces there is a small oak wood with a shady path leading to an ancient fountain.
